This book was excellent! Written by a man who is a "real" person talking about real people with Real issues. This book taught me that you didn't have to be a "jesus freak" to have a spiritual side, and to love others unconditionally. Larry is truely an amazing man.

All right, everyone. If you have ever wondered if there were a self-instruction manual for Jazz Improvisation, look no further. This is the most comprehensive, instructional, accessible book on the subject, written by the greatest jazz educator of all time: David N. Baker. If your proficiency ranges from amateur to professional, this book will have SOMETHING in it that you didn't know. I hope you all will get as much out of this book as I did.

Jerry Baker's books are always concise, practical, and never leave room for guess work. In this book he has applied those principals to give us a small book packed full of specific information and done it with witt and humor. He has helped preserve a dying art and preserved information for generations to come. I have several large herbal reference books, but none give specific amounts to take of an herb, which left me guessing. He gives specific details and also tells you in the margins counterindications if the herb might not be appropriate to take. For people who take their herbs seriously, they will not find a better guide.

Reap the rewards of the millions who have watched Baker on TV, on the radio and in his dozens of books. You might want to keep this book with your cookbooks- just grab it, mix up an easy potion and be the envy of all the green thumbers.

This would be an excellent gift for yourself or a fellow gardener.

As a lawyer specializing in Amparo and Criminal Law, I can say that this is a trully excellent book. Dr. Baker's analysis of the Mexican amparo system is excellent, and it is a good begining for comparing Mexican judicial review to that of the United States.

Because the book was written in 1971, some amendments have been made to the amparo law since then, so you will have to study about these changes elsewhere. Nonetheless, as the essence of the institution has not changed, Dr. Baker's book is still an excellent analysis of the Mexican Amparo system. If you are fluent in Spanish, you may also want to check "El Juicio de Amparo" by Ignacio Burgoa, and the book by Sergio Leff, which will be printed in the year 2000.

I've read this book and I've LIVED this book. It's all good in coping with your day. Good tips for kids too!

SUZANNE IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER OF ALL. LUKE AND HER SHARE MANY OF THE SAME PROBLEMS BETWEEN THEIR PARENTS. NIKKI SEEMS NICE AT FIRST BUT CAN CHANGE HER OPINION ON WHAT VICTORIA SAYS. I FEEL BAD FOR VICTORIA BECAUSE OF HER DADS DRINKING PROBLEM. IF SHE WOULD OPEN UP AND TELL SOMEONE HER PROBLEMS SHE WOULD BE BETTER OFF. OVERALL THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS.

this book is worth getting. the recipes are easy for that age group. it uses simple ingredients. my grandchildren love making things from it. the illustrations are also beautiful.

Farnoux's 'archaeology of a dream' - the French title of this splendid little book - is the primary source for the general reader interested in the historiography of excavations at Knossos and in Crete. But the real value lies, I believe, in the reconstructions he has comissioned of the palace, and in his choice of current discoveries in Crete. Strongly recommended for students and travellers alike.

This book is wonderful. It's full of hints, tips and projects to do with your serger. I'm a complete novice, but with their hints & tips, I'm getting much better and have tons of ideas for wonderful things to do to enhance my sewing projects. They really help take the 'fear' out of using this new tool. Covering a range of topics from the basics to heirloom serging and creating unique and wonderful items to give and enjoy.

Definetely a must-have!
